Date(s): 2020
Creator(s): Dennis, Danielle
Scope & Content: BA dissertation submitted to Keele University. Arranged with chapters covering the financial records of the Charges of revenues and Waterbailiff's accounts (chapter 2), the Stanley's last years 1680-1736. Land issues and the start of the real push for the import and export trade on the Island (chapter 3) and the Atholls and the road to the end of economic control for the Lords of Man (chapter 4).
The dissertation has a Covid-19 disclaimer and note that the work was submitted by a student with dyslexia. With the MNH copy, the author included a photograph of herself holding the dissertation with her pony - because of coronavirus restrictions she was not allowed to hand in a physical copy of her work so this was a different way of marking a milestone with a treasured pony who died later in 2020.
