The Chapel opened in 1910.

Administration / Biographical History: The so called 'Threepenny Chapel' due to the fundraising efforts of Mr Harry Ward (Douglas grocer who owned Corony Farm and Corony Mill House) who used to ask people for a 3d donation and William Caley. In 1909 many people paid £5 each to lay memorial stones. The new chapel was opened in March 1910 by Mr J Kerruish MHK, grandson of Robert Kerruish who gave the land in 1815. The Sunday School hall was renovated in 1925.

In 1986 the chapel closed and chapel members relocated to share premises with Dhoon Anglican Parish Church.
