He is asked to tell stories from when he was a young boy, how he was born in Andreas 96 ago, how he went to school in Jurby when he was about 6 until he was 11; how he remembers being baptised in Kirk Andreas when he was 13 years old how he was an apprentice for 4 years and there was no pay; how he has put many tyres on wheels; how the tyres were heated with turf; how he did lots of other smithy work for farmers; how he has heard stories about the fairies but hasn't seen many himself; and a story about the fairies going to Peel for herring and drinking the pub dry.
