Caption below reads, 'The Skeleton of an Elk. Found in a Marl pit 18 Feet beneath the surfact in Ballaugh Isle of Mann'. Caption above 'Distance between the tip of the Horns 8 Feet. Length of each Horn 5 Feet 10 Inches. The Tips of the Horns 13 Feet hight'.
