A Map of the ground between the Parade and High Water Mark on the No. East side of the Harbour of Douglass Isle of Man 1782.'

Scope & Content: Elevations of houses on the parade and of the Fort are given. Areas of enclosed land are shown (coloured too), with a key as to ownership. The position of the Watch House and adjacent buildings is also depicted. Basil Megaw's pencilled notes were written on the map concerning the building third from left in the Parade buildings 'The White LIon / belonged to Sir Wm Fine d. 1762, previously occupied by Geo. [Sheweld], then by Mr Howard. Became the York Hotel'.
