Scope & Content: A manuscript letter from John Quayle [the Younger], informing Humphrey Harrison that he has returned to the Isle of Man from London, whereupon he informed the Governor of the Duke of Atholl's request for information regarding a remittance, and on the island's tithes, who in turn gave a response on both matters, which Quayle repeats in the letter; he then requests Harrison's assistance in producing an account of his expenses for his time in London, providing 'a sketch of the particulars' on the back of the letter, which total £63 8s. 7 1/2d.
