Administration / Biographical History: Erwin Sophron Julius Krauss (b. 23 May 1902 in Berlin; d.1973) and Erna Krauss (nee Horwitz, b.1906, d.1964) married in 1938 in Holborn, London. Before the war Erna was Berlin then London and Glasgow, 1936-1939.

The couple were interned early in 1940 initially separate in Central and Rushen camps (Erna in Edinburgh initially) ; but later together in the Married Camp, Port St Mary, Isle of Man.

In 1948 they were naturalised (TNA HO334/200/37245). They later lived at 18 Westbourne House, Richmond Road, Twickenham.
