Scope & Content: Bon illustrates activiites with accompanying captions beginning 'Saturday 20th Jan 1945, was our day off & it snowed - in the morning we went shopping ... And in the afternoon we went for a walk up the mountain road ... whilst on the mountain road we had a snow fight'. Continues with staying by the fire and playing 'Bezique', visiting Mrs Sillers who is staying with Mrs Kerruish 'we took our earlier diaries with us ... And afterwards we drank coffee and talked', Bon training in the classroom 'binding during the day on A/C vecco', attending a Camp concert with Cice and Mrs Sillers 'afterwards 'booking out' in the guardroom the two ladies were intrigued by "janker-wallahs" ', dress shopping with Cice in Douglas, eating 'steak, egg and chips in our usual Douglas eating house' and afterwards watching Ellenor Powell 'in something or other', 'Feb 14th In the evening we had a gambling school at Mrs Sillers'. Finishes with Mrs Sillers poorly in bed then well enough to bake a cake and a mishap in the kitchen.
