Scope & Content: A manuscript letter from the Clerk of the Rolls, John McHutchin, suggesting to the Duke of Atholl that the executions of John Camaish and Catherine Kinrade be deferred until it is certain that no reprieve will come from the King; McHutchin also states that Mr. Fargher has promised to act as executioner if it goes ahead; a suggestion is also made that if Camaish's and Kinrade's bodies are not made available for dissection, they should be buried at the back of Malew church.
