Scope & Content: A manuscript copy of a precept issued to the Coroner of Middle Sheading, ordering him to give public notice that a Court of Tynwald is to be held on 27 August, in order to consider the cases of the insolvent debtors, confined in Castle Rushen's gaol, who have applied to be discharged under the Act of Tynwald recently passed; the Coroner is also ordered to give personal notice to the members of the House of Keys that reside within his sheading that their attendance is required; original dated 20 July 1822.
