Scope & Content: Green cloth covered album (25 cm x 31 cm) with gilt lettering 'Photographs' on front cover containing 28 sepia photographs (19 x 24 cm) mounted onto card. Scenes depicted in order are the wreck of three masted 'Thorn' off Douglas Head (25 January 1890), Douglas Head lighthouse from the rocks south of Douglas, St George's Church, Douglas, New Kirk Braddan in the distance with fields in foreground, runic stones at Old Kirk Braddan, bridge at Kirby, Port Soderick bay, Port Soderick Hotel and bay (no incline railway), Port Soderick glen, interior view of Derby Fort on St Michael's Isle, Langness, coastal arch at Langness, King Willlliam's College with cricketers in foreground, Ballasalla, cliff face of Spanish Head, Sugarloaf and the Chasms, Perwick Bay, Spanish Head, Calf of Man (thatched cottages in foreground), the Sound, Burrow Head, 'Chickens Lighthouse', Cregneash, Meayll hill stone circle, Bradda Head with fishing boats in foreground (CT96 etc),'Eye of Bradda' cliff scene with ?mine building atop, Fleshwick caves, Niarbyl cottages with upturned boat in foreground, Peel from St Patrick's Isle, Lezayre church and Tholt y Will bridge in Sulby glen.
