Scope & Content: With the consent of his father, Clucas binds himself to Quayle as an apprentice for five years. Quayle binds himself to instruct and teach or cause to be instructed and taught J T Clucas in the profession of the law. John Clucas (father) covenants to give Quayle £100 British as an apprenticeship fee and the parties bind themselves (to uphold the arrangement) under penalty of £100.
