Scope & Content: Coloured chart dedicated within an elaborate cartouche to Sir John Lowther Bart, one of the Commissioners for executing the office of Lord High Admiral of England. The Isle of Man is surrounded by the coastlines of Anglesey, Carnarvanshire, Flintshire, Lancashire, Cumberland and Scotland as far north as the Mull of Galloway. Inset depictions of the outline of Little Orm's Head and Great Orm's Head as well as the hills near the Chester Bar. Numbered 29 in top left corner.
Completed as part of a coastal survey of Great Britain, undertaken by Captain Greenvile Collins from 1681 onwards under commission of the Admiralty.
