Administration / Biographical History: The front page of the Peel City Guardian on 27 January 1968 gave brief news of the forthcoming summer Viking festival and names of the ship's leaders elected for the festival - Sea Dragon (Harry Maddrell and Herbert Hughes), Sea Falcon (Peter Dawson and Michael Richards), Sea Hawk (Robert Gorry and Jack Gorry), Sea Wolf (Philip Quane and Neil Keig) with reserves Robet Brew and Michael Faulkner. The front page also carried news of an invitation for members of the Peel Viking Festival Committee to send a contigent of 'Vikings' from Peel to Stavanger with a Norwegian contingent visitign Peel for 4 July.
