First World War internee Jakob Breuer and one other, Knockaloe Camp, Isle of Man

Scope & Content: The identification of Jakob Breuer is based upon the prisoner number 15579 which is marked upon the glass plate, and comparison with the hospital and repatriation lists which appear on the ICRC website. His Red Cross information bureau number was 100040, but a note adds that it was previously 166C, indicating that he was first held in a camp within the British Empire.

His home address is shown as 18 S.7th Street, St Louis, Missouri, USA. He was born at Aachen, Rhpr. (Index card adds: Aix -le-Chapelle) Age 27 when arrived Knockaloe.
