Scope & Content: There is a name on the glass plate, but it is indistinct. However the identification of 4507 Harry Plumacher is derived from an original postcard print from this negative, offered in an internet auction, which was named and numbered. The card was addressed to Ernst E. Plumacher, 7 Thomanianstr. [?] Berlin.

He appears on the ICRC database with Red Cross information bureau number 50827. He first appears on a 1916 list, age given as 24, noted as reservist, NOK: E.E.Plumacher, Berlin, Rosenthalerstr. 8a.
