I remember Shepherd Sayle he had two sisters My family lived in that cottage from the 1950s for around 5 or 6 years Water was an outside tap and we didn't have electricity I have paintings on my studio wall of the cottage. I absolutely loved living there and would go back to it it anytime . A crime that it was pulled down in the late 60s. The outbuildings were still intact when we lived there and it was probably the last complete farm with a thatched cottage! - Ian staples Report this
