No. 19 New Bond St, Douglas
Date(s): 1932-1934
Creator(s): Frowde, John James
Scope & Content: On the back of this photograph Frowde writes, 'No 19 New Bond St, the first house to be taken down in the demolition area. The various apertures in the gable always held my gaze whenever I passed the house. Six of them, including the cellar door; and no two of them the same size. It was the same with Sam Quine's old pub at the foot of Big Well St windows that happened as fate decreed'. Additional notes: 'Drop of window-Tap?'.
