Memorial to Josephine Kermode (Manx poet known as Cushag)

Scope & Content: Memorial in Mr. Quayle's yard before going to Maughold Church.
Inscription reads:- "Josephine Kermode The Poet Cushag. Daughter of the Rev. William Kermode. Born at Ramsey 18 Sept. 1852. Died at Bournemouth 15 July 1937. With love and zeal she helped her brother Phillip in all his work for the Manx People. She herself wrote a Volume of Poems which has earned her the love of her countrymen all over the World."
Mr. Quayle's foreman is shown holding the memorial.
