Creator(s): Royston, J. Walter
Scope & Content: This film starts with Douglas war memorial. The Lieutenant-Governor Lord Granville takes the salute and takes up position in front of the memorial. Next to him stands the mayor of Douglas. The bad weather suggests it may be an Armistice Day parade which would be in November.
The parade starts with the Royal Marines band followed by sailors. Then come some women who in the order of precedence are probably WRENs. Next come some soldiers followed by women who look like ATS. Then comes a pipe band, probably from RAF Jurby. Lastly come what might be Loyal Manx Association, Observer Corps and Red Cross and finally scouts.
