English-style Pieced Quilt

Description: Unfinished English-style pieced cotton patchwork quilt.
The quilt is made from a series of alternating 15 cm squares of plain white cotton and nine-patch blocks. The nine-patch patchwork blocks are mainly multicoloured printed cottons and white cotton, with some red and white blocks along one side.
This patchwork quilt was made by the donor's mother, Mrs Sage Kinvig of Ronague, in the late 19th or early 20th century.
