Rushen Abbey Brooch
Date made: 13th Century
Description: Annular with attached tongue. The brooch was found (as a pair with 2000-0013.3) on the pelvis of a skeleton. Scientific analysis of metal of the brooch (XRF) showed 91% copper, 8% tin, 1% lead; and of the pin, 100% copper.
