Balladoole Viking Boat Burial Horse Bridle Strap-mount

Description: Two strips of sheet metal, folded to hold leather straps, secured by dome-headed rivets (three domes are missing). Around each rivet are incised circles and along the length, the pattern is interlace on a cross-hatched background within a double-border. One strap-mount has light decoration on the back. In the centre is a plaque with ornamental domed rivets. Similar to 1966-0372/05d and /05e, but with longer front plates and shorter back plates. Associated with 1966-0372/05b - /05q.
