Ballateare Viking Burial Strap-end

Date made: Viking

Description: One end is spilt and there is a single rivet with a flat head set between two elongated animal ears of sub-triangular form. There is a double line of punched dots on either side of a ridge in the centre and a second animal head at the tip, with clear ears and eyes.
