St Patrick's Isle Bead

Date made: Viking: 800-1265

Description: Large amber bead. Annular with a lozenge shaped cross section. The bead is chamfered in towards the central hole on both sides. Only half of the bead remains. It appears to have been burnt as there is scorching to the surface. Very dark opaque orange-brown in colour.
