Description: John Crellin on a motorcycle during Tourist Trophy races. The motorcycle has the symbol of a baker, the logo of J.J.Crellin (bakers) of Douglas, the rider's grandfather and main sponsor.
John Crellin of Douglas was a civil engineer with the Department of Transport's design services division. He was a regular competitor in the Tourist Trophy and Manx Grand Prix races, and in his spare time was also a mountaineer, conquering six of the world's highest peaks. He was killed riding in the 2009 Senior TT race.
