Matching skirt and jacket
Date made: mid 19th century
Description: Silk taffeta skirt and jacket that belonged to Elizabeth Watterson. Chequered pattern created with horizontal green and white stripes with narrow black vertical stripes. The long skirt is lined with linen and trimmed at the hem with green woollen tape. The jacket sleeves are lined with a lace trim at the cuff.
