Description: “Gulls, wild-pigeons and puffins are the most numerous. The last bird is not to be seen in any part of the main Isle. The Calf is its only residence. It breeds on the rocks and…is esteemed by many of the natives as a great delicacy.” (David Robertson, A Tour Through The Isle of Man, 1794, M 01360)
