Biography: Frank Minay Moore lived at 12 Princes Street, Douglas. Before the war he had been employed as a plumber, and with the development of Knockaloe Camp he was employed there in the position of camp plumber and fitter. During his time there, his fiancee cycled out from Douglas once a fortnight to see him. Later, in 1917 Frank was called up and joined the King's Liverpool Regiment. After the war he returned home, and in 1920 married his fiancee (who had been working in a munitions factory in Manchester). (Image ref: PG/14484/2).
