Due home September 13th. Final leave September 27th. November 30th 8 Section, 14 Platoon, D Company, 2nd Royal Scots. 8 Brigade 3 Division B.E.F. (British Expeditionary Force). In hospital with bad feet April. Been home, back again in France July 1916. Wounded September. 10 Ward Alexandria Hospital Venice Street, Liverpool. November 1916 as before. November 1917 3 Royal Scots Glencorse, Edinburgh. Very lame. Discharged.'
