Biography: First World War Soldier. 'No. 9474. L. Sergeant (Lance Sergeant). 1 King's Own Royal Lancaster R. (Regiment). Lived with a Mrs Clucas who had reared him from infancy. His mother lives in Laxey Was serving when war broke out. Reported Missing on Aug. 26. No news since. Have written to Authorities and Red Cross. Geneva. Reported May 24 Sept. 13 To be presumed dead.
