Son of Walter Thomas Evans & Jane Forbes Evans of Georgetown, Ontario, Canada, Phm.B. Unit: 433 Squadron RCAF. Flying Officer Evans was killed in the explosion and ensuing crash of a Handley-Page Halifax LW115 over Laxey. He was a very new member of 433 SQN having only been posted in early July 1944 and was the Bomb Aimer for the flight.
