Biography: Age 33, Jack Adam is a draughtsman and comes from Prestwick, Ayrshire. He started racing in 1953 and all his appearances until 1958 took place on Scottish circuits. Last year he was fourth in the 350 c.c. Snaefell race and this position gave him a ride in the Junior Manx, in which he finished eighth at 85.45 m.p.h. He won a Replica, of course, and also the 350 c.c. Newcomers award, presented by the Peveril M.C. & L.C.C. in memory of the late Derek Ennett. Hobby: Photography.
