Biography: Age 28, Rex Avery is a toolmaker, and lives at Watford, Herts. He has ridden on most of the English short circuits with, as he says, no startling successes. This year's 125 race will be his first over the mountain course, but he rode in the same event two years ago on the Clypse Circuit and finished 15th on an L.E.F. at 58.78 m.p.h.
