Biography: Age 20, Colin Broughton is a radio engineer, and comes from Ramsey, Isle of Man. He has already ridden in six M.G.P.'s the first being the 1954 Junior, in which he finished 28th, with a replica on a B.S.A.. In 1956 again on B.S.A.'s he was 14th in the Junior, but retired in the Senior; his "best yet" was in 1957, when he finished fifth in the Junior on a Norton. Last year his luck was out, for he had to retire on the second lap of both the Junior and Senior races.
