Biography: Junior - A.J.S.
Age 36, a salesman from Belfast, R.E. Browne started racing on a Matchless and then took to a 1949 7R A.J.S. He competed in eleven races in Ireland during 1949 and 1950, finishing in every one. Last year he was fourth in the 1950 Mid-Antrim 150 and fifth in the Temple 100, whilst he averaged 80.29 m.p.h. in the Ulster Grand Prix.
He is using the same 149 A.J.S. and is entered by himself.
