Biography: Age 31, G.R. Butler comes from Cambridge and is a store keeper with the well known firm of Hallens of Cambridge. His first Manx experience was in 1956, when he finished 33rd in the Senior, but his road racing career began in 1952 and he has appeared at many of the short circuits. In addition he has competed in several South Midland Centre trials, but in this branch of the sport he finds himself 'very much of a novice.' Last year he was 36th in the Junior Manx and 19th in the Senior. Hobby: Serious music.
