Biography: Mount: 125 c.c. – B.S.A.
Age 29, a motor-cycle fitter from Southampton, Leslie Caldecutt has only been racing since 1950 but has already had some success, thanks to enthusiastic helpers and perseverance on his own part. Riding a B.S.A. Bantam, his first race was at the 1950 August Thruxton meeting, when he finished fifth in the 125 c.c. class. Soon after, he was fourth at the September Warminster meeting. In the 1951 season he has already gained two second places, at Thruxton on Easter Monday and at Ibsley on Whit Saturday.
He is entered by Alec Bennett, who supplied the machine in the first place.
