Biography: Junior - Velocette
Age 37. C. B. Carr is a stone mason and lives in Chesterfield. This is his first time on the Island circuit, and his previous racing experience has been mainly gained in Northern Ireland, where he says , he has ridden in the Ulster GP, “once or twice” – his best performance to date being second place on handicap in the Junior class of the 1951 event.
His machine is “very standard” and has ridden it since 1948.
Hobbies: cricket and tennis.
