Geoff Cowell

Biography: Age 22, Geoffrey Cowell is a cartographer, and comes from Douglas, Isle of Man. He has marshalled for the T.T. and M.G.P, races since he was 16 years old, but last year's M.G.P. was his first race. He rode a Triumph/Norton in the Senior, but had to retire on the second lap, after a "prang." In the recent Southern "100", however, he won the Wallace Cup for the best performance by a resident of the Isle of Man Centre.
Geoff's machine consists of a 1951 Manx Norton frame, wheels, gear-box, etc., with a recently rebuilt T100 Triumph engine. Hobbies : Badminton and golf—"when I can find the time." (TT Special, 5 September 1961, p.9)
