Not Walter, but John William 'Billy' Creyton. He was born in Ramsey in 1880. By the 1911 census he's in Coventry with his wife, Isabel (from Peel), and three young daughters - his occupation is stated as a 'Motor Cycle Tester' (I'm presuming with the Triumph factory). He passed away in Coventry in 1932 - Isabel in 1939. - Dave Evans Report this

Hi Dave, you're right he did work at the Triumph factory in Coventry. And was a dispatch driver during WW1 until discharged after a crash. - Victoria Creyton Report this
