Aged 40, a company director, of Auckland, New Zealand, John Dale has had many racing successes in his own country. In 1949 he won the Junior class of the Wanganui Grand Prix and was second in the Patia T.T. Junior race.

This year he has already been second in the New Zealand Junior T.T., first in the Hamilton “100” and third in the Patia Junior T.T.

Hobbies: Yachting, swimming and – if it can be called a hobby – raising a family of four!
He is entered by the New Zealand A.C.U.
