Biography: Age 26, Max Deubel is a "werkzeugmacher" and comes from Germany. He has competed in many Continental races during the past three years, and in 1959 won an international race at Dresden, with a second at Schleiz, and various thirds. Before the T.T. last year he scored two seconds, two thirds and two fourths, but in the Island he had to retire on the first lap. This year he has already been placed third in the Sidecar classes of the Eifelrennen races at Nurburgring and of the Austrian Grand Prix, whilst last month he won the Sidecar class of the Saar Grand Prix and of the German Grand Prix, and was second in the French Grand Prix.
