Biography: Age 26, Peter Evans is in the R.A.F. and comes from Cheltenham. He began racing in 1958 with a 350 c.c. Gold Star, and continued in 1959 with a 500 c.c. Triumph-Norton. Last year he was "amongst those present" at Aberdare, Aintree, Cadwell, Castle Combe, Silverstone and Thruxton.
Peter rode a virtually standard 1959 Matchless G.50 in last year's Senior Manx, but was unlucky enough to retire on the last lap. Hobbies (if any besides motor cycling):— "A good question !" (TT Special, 12 June 1961, p. 23)
