Biography: Age 26, S.A. Fairchild is an engine tester and comes from Dunstable, Beds. This is his first TT but he has been racing for three years on Moto EMB and EMC Puch machines, and he also owns a 201 cc MV Agusta. He has done reasonably well in short circuit events, his best to date being second in a 200 cc heat at Alton Towers and a fifth in the final. Fairchild is one of three riders entered as a team by Jim Bound, who is concessionaire for Montesa machines in Great Britain. Hobbies: "No time or cash left for any other hobby."
