Biography: Age 20. Fred Fisher is a motorcycle engineer from Manchester and is employed by Reg Dearden. He has had experience of trials and scrambles and has raced and tested machines for Reg. Dearden at Chilton Park all the year round on a closed circuit. He rode in the 1958 350 c.c. Snaefell race and finished 26th, at 70.58 m.p.h. This qualified him for a ride in the Manx — in the Senior race as it happened — in which he retired in the fifth lap.
In 1959 he finished 25th in the Senior and was a member of the winning Club team and last year he went up a few places -17th in the Senior at 87.32 m.p.h., with a replica. He won this year's 500 c.c. Clubman's race at Oulton.

Age 19, Fred Fisher is a motor cycle mechanic from Manchester and is employed by Reg Dearden.

He has had experience of trials and scrambles and has raced and tested machines for Reg. Dearden at Oulton Park all the year round on a closed circuit. He rode in the 1958 350 c.c. Snaefell race and finished 26th, at 76.58 m.p.h. This qualified him for a ride in the Manx – in the Senior race as it happened – in which he retired in the fifth lap.

Last year he finished 25th in the Senior and was a member of the winning Club team.
