Age 47. L. J. French, is an engineering designer and director from London, S.W.2. He has been riding for many years, and has to date finished in three Island races – all Clubman’s T.T.’s.
In the 1948 Senior Clubman’s T.T. he rode a Norton and finished 30th. The next year, in the same event, he improved his position by one place by finishing 29th on a Triumph. Changing to the Junior event, and to a Douglas machine, he was 38th in 1951.

Age 45; a company director, of London, S.W.2. Rode in the Senior Clubman’s in 1948 and 1949 and finished in both events after a little trouble. Machine, Douglas 90 Plus. Hobby: “In very second place, photography.”
