Biography: Mount: Sidecar – Norton

Age 25, Brian Green is a partner in a garage business at Wrentham Nr. Beccles, Suffolk. This is his first appearance in the Island, but he has had experience of short-circuit racing, having been placed in finals at most of the English circuits.

His Norton is a 1952 499 c.c. model ex-Ernie Walker, but it has been modified and is now fitted with streamlining. Brian’s passenger is 23-year old W. Rushmere.

Age 29, Brian Green is a partner in a garage business at Wrentham Nr. Beccles, Suffolk. He has had experience of short-circuit racing, having been placed in finals at most of the English circuits.
His first appearance in the T.T. was in 1957—in the Sidecar race on a Norton—but he retired on the third lap. In 1958, however, he brought his Norton outfit home into eighth place, and collected a Bronze replica, whilst in 1959 he was Ilth in the same race, with a Finisher's Award.
Back in the Sidecar T.T. last year Brian brought his Norton home an ninth place, at 72.83 m.p.h. He won a Bronze Replica and was also a member of the winning Club Team, the Eastern Sporting Sidecar Association. He is entered by his firm L. C. Green and Son of Wrentham.
