Biography: Age 33, John Griffiths, who describes himself as a "wandering vagabond", comes from Burnham Green, Herts, but is at present living in Birkenhead. He has been riding motor cycles since 1945 and racing them since 1951, his first race being at Wallasey sands on an "alcohol" Black Lightning. Since then he has competed in the Cookstown "100", the Killinchy "150", the I.o.M. Southern "100" and other well-known events, often being "amongst theose present" at the finish.

Age 32, John Griffiths, who describes himself as a “wandering vagabond,” comes from Burnham Green, Herts. He has been riding motor cycles since 1945 and racing them since 1951, his first race being at Wallasey sands on an “alcohol” Black Lightning. Since then he has competed in the Cookstown “100”, the Killinchy “150”, the I.o.M. Southern “100” and other well-known events, often being “amongst those present” at the finish.

In 1957 he had a bad crash in the Temple “100” which put him out of action for a long time. He was 14th in both Junior and Senior classes of the 1959 I.o.M. Southern “100”, and was 40th in the Junior Manx.

Hobbies: Touring and swimming.
