Biography: Mount: Lightweight – Benelli
Age 26, Francis Edwin Heath is a motor cycle dealer of Church, near Accrington. This year’s Lightweight T.T. will be his first race in the Island, but he has had several places at short-circuit meetings, including a second – to Maurice Cann – at Snetterton in 1954.
His Benelli is an ex-works double-knocker model, and he tells us that it has been assembled by F. Beart and that it revs, at over 9,000; it was previously owned by Belgian champion Leon Martin.
Hobbies: XK 120’s – speed boats – anything that goes!
